Queer Evolution

On my way to work this morning, something occurred to me...

The Secular Left Materialists believe that Man is an accident of nature, and that evolution is the sole determinate of all of our being, that mind is a product or artifact of the physical brain, and that we have no immaterial soul.

They mock Intelligent Design as Creationism repackaged, and call Religion "superstition".

They try to explain EVERYTHING in terms of the needs of the species (genes) to reproduce and survive. Every sympathy, every behavior, even the "belief" in afterlife, love, sacrifice, honor...they argue is an "advantage to the survival of the species", and is thus just a product of blind and mindless "evolution".

And then insist homosexuality is perfectly "natural".

Is there any "natural" trait that is more inimical to the survival of the species than homosexuality?

How is it that blind and mindless evolution, that could grow brains that create minds that imagine an afterlife, all so that the bodies carrying the brains would act in ways that insured the survival of the species. . . managed, at the same time to create so many that don't procreate?

And why do the believers in Materialist Evolution not call them "mutants" or "deviants" when, according to their own ideology, they must be?

Have they just failed to notice this gaping chasm in their logic? Or is it us? I've never heard this argument before. It just occurred to me for the first time this morning.

But it, by definition, renders one of their most closely held tenets false.

1) Either accidental, blind and mindless evolution of all and only those traits that ensure the survival of the species is a LIE.

2) OR, homosexuality is a gross and mutant DEVIANCY, that is patently unnatural.

I really think they need to choose. They simply cannot have both.
