Can You Spot the Problem Here?

Reuters offers this "news" story:

By Noor Mohammad Sherzai

BATI KOT, Afghanistan (Reuters) - At least one U.S. soldier opened fire to scatter a crowd of civilians and police on Thursday after failed suicide bomb attacks on a U.S. military convoy, the U.S. military and witnesses said. . . .

"I saw the fire brigade vehicle rushing to the area at top speed. Somehow its brakes failed and hit one police vehicle and coalition vehicles, then the Americans started firing," said Reuters correspondent Noor Mohammad Sherzai.

My sister still believes the MSM just tells the "facts". Can't understand the accusation of "bias"..."Facts are facts, data is data", she insists. "The newspapers just tell us the facts, how can that be 'biased?'

I'd send her this, but she's just say it was invented by a right-wing website.

But you get it. Thank God for you!

  1. You mean you AREN'T supposed to interview yourself for a story... Who Knew!!! Heh.

There are sadly, far too many people who just don't want to hear they might be taken advantage of. *sigh* Thus Reuters keeps getting away with crap like this.

  2. You'd think at least ONE MSM reporter might have mentioned it.

What the hell are they teaching in "journalism school" these days?
Nothing more than to hate George W. Bush? I wonder what all those pathetic brain-washed, ill-educated "journalists" will do once he's no longer president.
