James Lewis identifies the qualities of President Bush that drive the Left nuts. He pretty much says what I've said about George W. Like him or not, he sticks to his guns no matter what.
It's that gumption that makes me love him about Iraq...and hate him about Immigration.

I guess that Lewis dude must be in the 28% of Americans who approve of Bush. (According to the latest Newsweek poll.)
ReplyDeleteWhat bothered me about Bush from the start was his arrogance and incompetence. That's a dangerous combination. I've only agreed with him on one thing, which was going into Iraq, (must be the Jewish Neocon in me,) but he botched it. Shame on me for forgetting how he botches everything.
While there may be some who don't care what Bush does, as long as he pisses off liberals, most Americans have come to realize how much damage the guy has done to the country. Thank God the country is headed back toward a moderate, centrist position, where ideas matter more than insults. (At least for a few years.)
In my experience, "moderate centrist" invariably means "flaming liberal".
