Minutemen Sold-Out by the U.S. Government

Hot off the press: The US Border Patrol is alerting the Mexican government as to the locations of the Minutemen civilian patrols watching the border.

Considering that among those crossing the border are armed Mexican military, drug smugglers and violent criminals...there's little doubt that this bit of sell-out action is directly putting at risk the health and the lives of American Citizens struggling to do what the American government won't do—the single most important thing required of it by the Constitution: defend our borders.

The Minutemen are peaceful, scrupulously legal, and non-confrontational. They set up at the border with binoculars. They WATCH. When they see illegals sneaking across the border, they call the Border Patrol. According to Minutemen President, Chris Simcox, the BP responds quickly, arresting the illegals, and they make it clear that the rank & file Border Patrol agents appreciate the help of the civilian border observers.

So who's selling them out? Printing bullseyes on their backs? Apparently high-ups in the BP. Sleazy bureaucrats acting on orders from Washington?

Considering that Bush thinks the Minutemen are "vigilantes", and has an unnatural affection for the Mexican president, I can't say I'm surprised. But I'm really pissed.

This is as bad as it gets. I've resisted the "black-helicopter' conspiracy nuts because I thought they were, well, nuts. I'm starting to get a bad feeling that I'm the one whose been buying a fantasy. If our government is selling out American Citizens to a foreign government actively involved in breaching our borders....what the hell can we count on?

Only ourselves, brother.

I'm going to start donating to the Minutemen today. Find them at:
