What Do You Believe?

The number of unsupported assumptions and random coincidences required to believe that an accidental, blind, unconscious, material universe spontaneously arose out of NOTHING is staggering.

The number of unsupported assumptions and random coincidences required to believe that life and consciousness arose from an accidental, blind, unconscious material universe is legion.

The number of unsupported assumptions required to believe that the universe, life and consciousness arose from a living, creative consciousness is one: the existence of a creative intelligence. No random coincidences required.

Occam's Razor says that the conclusion requiring the fewest assumptions is the one most likely to be true.

How many unsupported assumptions and random coincidences are you willing to swallow to cling to your pet faith?

Secularists and atheists would rather eat shoe-leather than admit that the claims of atheism are more "faith-based" than acceptance of the idea of a creative intelligence.

(Too bad you can't just shoot the bastards)
