I wish the President had disagreed without calling them "SOBs," but I don't want a cashier protesting when I'm buying a meal. Kneeling is protocol for kings & Eucharist ("King of Kings" in their theology). Standing is protocol for Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance & judges. Try going on one knee when you're a defendant and the judge enters the court to see how 'honored' they feel. Kneeling when you should stand is a 'diss'. Colin Kaepernick clearly and publicly said that he was disrespecting the anthem, flag, country and (pig socks) cops, and these players are copying his diss, even if they're too ignorant to realize that they're being played by Kaepernick's BLM "Pigs in a Blanket Fry them like bacon" activist girlfriend. Most patriots see the flag-kneeling like their sister being called a 'b!tch' by her boyfriend who's trying to persaude everybody that it's a 'term of endearment', and reply 'F.U. A-hole', which is just as endearing a term.
Employees should protest off-duty, off of company property, out of company uniform. When company owner(s) let them do otherwise, then the company owner(s) are also disrespecting the Anthem and Flag. Americans have never kneeled for anybody who isn't God, because Americans have never had a King or Queen. Americans Stand. But if this continues we’re going to return to the situation of the 1960s and the 1970s, where people were fleeing cities because lawlessness was out of control.
