Here is a particularly wonderful essay of his that describes our current situation exactly. (copied below for your convenience, and my retention!)

We are at the crossroads. Either we have peaceful liberty, or we have violence against tyranny.

"As I travel, I meet lots of folks in airports and elsewhere who confide in me that we’re “Facebook friends.” It’s so deeply humbling. Many ask if I ever read the comments. I’ll be honest, not often, but sometimes I take a survey of sentiment depending on a story. What I have noticed is there are more than a few who are despondent and believe nothing can be done to reverse our nation’s course. And then there are those who want to see our military rise up and arrest these corrupt and criminal individuals. And then there are the progressive trolls – spare me your illogical ranting about the lack of criminal behavior on the part of Hillary Clinton and her litany of disciples. If any of us were to commit a fraction of these actions, we would be charged and certainly incarcerated. Just do a simple comparison of the Hillary Clinton private email server case and her use of that insecure means to transmit classified information to that of US Marine Corps Major Jason Brezler…I rest my case.
But, somewhere in between the responses, there lies the true solution for what we’re witnessing in our America, which is the arrogance of officialdom.

I voted yesterday here in Dallas and made what I believe to be the best response to the evident corruption that has overtaken our system of governance. Yes, there is no doubt that there have been criminal actions and disregard of our rule of law. I will no longer accept an excuse of incompetence and ineptness as to where we find our economic situation in America — it is purposeful.

Over the past fifty years or so, we’ve seen the incremental rise of progressive socialism and the willing accomplices of the radical secular humanists. Along with that, we’ve witnessed the disturbing embrace of these progressive socialists of Islamo-fascists — how bizarre.

This isn’t not about political party; it’s about a philosophy of governance and the restoration of our Constitutional Republic and the preservation of liberty — its very survival.
Once again I must repeat Abraham Lincoln’s true definition of liberty:
“The world has never had a good definition of the word liberty, and the American people, just now, are much in want of one. We all declare for liberty; but in using the same word we do not all mean the same thing. With some the word liberty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor; while with others the same word may mean for some men to do as they please with other men, and the product of other men’s labor. Here are two, not only different, but incompatible things, called by the same name—liberty. And it follows that each of the things is, by the respective parties, called by two different and incompatible names—liberty and tyranny.”
This election is about what shall be the relationship between government and the individual. Shall we truly choose to have individual sovereignty to determine our own path, our pursuit of happiness? Or are we on the path towards having others determine the course and direction of our lives based on their collectivist ideology, seeking to guarantee our happiness? Do we still believe our inalienable rights – the first being life — emanate from the Creator, or have we succumbed to the ideal that the State, the government, is the highest authority…and therefore the grantor and taker of our individual rights?

This election isn’t about individuals who want to be president. It’s about a prevailing attitude, a theme — one of elitism – and truly, a bipartisan phenomenon. It is the political, media, cultural, educational, corporate and entertainment elites who are prescribing what’s best for those who are below them.

This sense of superiority has poisoned our Republic and our nation whereby power is being concentrated within a twelve square mile area called Washington DC. This election comes down to whether or not the elites win and continue on their path towards abject tyranny, eschewing liberty for their own gain and control. It is reflected in the words of President Barack Hussein Obama when he stood before the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and admonished them, saying he’d take it as a personal insult if Hillary Clinton wasn’t elected president. Why? Why would a president say that? It’s simple, because it’s about HIS legacy, his ideology, his fundamental transformation of our United States of America — which we now fully see.

This election is about a liberal progressive media establishment that will manipulate the truth and become a state-sponsored entity that colludes and coordinates with certain political entities…why? Because it is all about the retention of power. This is about the educational elites who no longer teach the meaning of our rule of law and undermines our history, in many cases erasing it, in order to create the next generation of radicals who follow the mantra of Saul Alinsky instead of Thomas Jefferson.

After all, the incredible precepts given to us by our Founding Fathers are nullified because they were old white men who owned slaves. Sadly, we don’t pay attention to the white men and women who today advocate for a new form of enslavement – economic — as they advance the idea of the welfare state and the dependency society…all for their own power, by way of electoral patronage.

This election, the vote I cast yesterday is about what we shall be as a nation, what we shall pass onto our future generations. Imagine a nation where a government demands our men and women in uniform pay back enlistment bonuses for serving our nation in combat. When was the last time we heard of a government bureaucrat having to return a bonus paid by us the American taxpayer? That won’t happen because they’re the elites, and we’ve become the modern day serfs, as we head down the “road to serfdom.”

What I’ve come to realize, having been in Washington DC, is the best way to punish those who want power is take the power away. And we can do that with the votes we cast in these next two weeks. Certainly there are those who’ve become truly delusional lemmings who’ve forgotten what it means to be free… to have liberty. They’re more than happy to surrender themselves to the onerous and all encompassing federal government that will dictate to them “their bye and their leave.”

However, for those who us who believe in Lincoln’s definition of liberty, this is our moment, this is our time, it is our chance. If we fail in this endeavor, we will have said to the elites that regardless of your corruption and criminal behaviors, we will acquiesce. We will tell them we’re no longer willing to be citizens in a Republic, but rather subjects of a suit-wearing monarchy, certainly a political oligarchy where only certain folks retain power. And this isn’t about the false statement of the “one-percenters” — that is a political talking point. We should all seek to be a one-percenter, exceptional, in own our way.

As Thomas Paine wrote in December 1776 in “The Crisis,”
“THESE are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value.”
We do face a crisis at this time and on November 9th we will answer a simple question: were we sunshine patriots and summer soldiers? Years after Paine’s words, Lincoln articulated the meaning of tyranny — a group of elites determining what to do with others, and the product of others’ labor.

This is not easily conquered, but then again, no one thought standing up and defeating the British empire was either — yet it was a glorious triumph that set forth this “last great hope for mankind.”

Just remember, someone telling you they’ll give you something for nothing is cheap, like a participation trophy. It has no real value and in the end, holds no esteem. But to those true Americans, those who will make a stand, future generations will award us their love and thanks.

So let us heed these words of Thomas Jefferson, “On matters of style, swim with the current, on matters of principle, stand like a rock.” 
 
Let us stand like a rock and tell the elites to go engage in mass quantities of strenuous self-copulation. After all, that’s what our Founding Fathers told King George III… "
