Just saw a program about this system. VERY impressive! We're using missiles without warheads on them. We literally smash the incoming rocket dead with pure speed, accuracy and mass. Kenetic energy. Basically, an ass-kickin', head-on collision. Nice explosion.
Everything's so obliterated that there's nothing left to hit earth. Nice, huh?
Here's how I see it: Iran develops their nuclear weapons; they launch a missile at Israel or us (inevitable); we drop it like an anchor and nuke 'em in retaliation.
Perfect provocation. Perfect cover.
