Silly Little Marco Rubio

Did I understand Marco Rubio correctly? Did he actually say that he was going to be the "counter-weight" to President Donald Trump?

Why yes. Though he didn't say it recently, I just heard it. It goes like this:

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio said on Wednesday that he was running for re-election in part to provide a counter-weight to whomever might win the White House in November, whether Democrat Hillary Clinton or Republican Donald Trump.

Rubio criticized Clinton in a statement he released to explain his decision, but added: "The prospect of a Trump presidency is also worrisome to me."

"If he is elected, we will need senators willing to encourage him in the right direction, and if necessary, stand up to him. I've proven a willingness to do both," Rubio said.

Does Little Marco understand what a funny image that evokes?

President Trump is, like 6'4", couple hundred pounds

Little Marco is, like 5'5", and 120 pounds.

The mental image is hilarous. And the idiocy of his rhetoric is equally hilarious.

What a stupid little man.

Thank God he didn't get near the White House?
