Freedom

I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.

  1. I agrre with RAH. Long before states began recognizing the CCW permits of each other, I drove through every state in the continental U.S. carrying concealed. I also carried concealed everyday of nursing school when I became an RN. It was legal there in Oregon, but the school would have kicked me out of the program (and banned me from attending again) if I had been caught.

Just for everyone's info, this was Umpqua Community College, where that half-black jihadi-wannabe killed some of the other students, and the one student who claimed he was armed didn't respond to stop the shooter. Really pissed me off when I read that. Even though they would have kicked me out afterwards, it would have been worth it to have been able to stop that murdering little bastard, if it had happened back when I was there ('97-'00).
