Going All the Way

I just got Donald Trump's book, Time to Get Tough. I've only read a couple of chapters, but I'm in love with the guy.

You can tell he wrote ever word, it sounds just like him...albeit after a little finessing by a good editor that doesn't mask the personality or tone of the man at all.

It's turning out to be a great read, by a man who quite obviously loves America, and is sick to death of the Washington way of (not) doing business.

He sees clearly through the bullshit to the core problem, and presents common sense, and perfectly obvious (to anyone outside the beltway) solutions.

He's a MAN in the best sense of the word.

He's not interested in talking prettily; he's interested in winning for America. He's not interested in pandering to muslim criminals, or Chinese hackers & currency manipulators, or Russian bare chested horse-riders, but besting them all to the advantage of America.

He's clear, he's logical, he's sensible. He's down to earth. He's one of us....in spite of his fortune. Or maybe because of it. After all...he actually WORKED for it.

I haven't finished the book. I suppose it's possible that in chapter 5 he recommends eating small children. But so far...it's a winner. And I'm more excited about him than I was before.

He could be a game changer. For the better. He could instill pride, optimism, a winning and pioneer spirit in a land that has been beaten down for so long that we almost forgot our heritage, and our inherent greatness.

I think I'm actually ready to say:  "TRUMP 2016!!"

Postscript:  For all those Trump bashers who insist he's just mouthing "conservative" values this week because he's running for president, READ THE BOOK. He wrote it in 2011. He's clearly been thinking this way for years.
