"If you weaken it [the law] today, you weaken it forever."

From CNS News:

"Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) has a message for those who may approve of -- or even benefit from -- President Obama's unconstitutional immigration policy: "Be careful what you do with the law today, because if you weaken it today, you weaken it forever," he told the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.

Transcription of the entire speech here.

God bless Trey Gowdy.

  1. So much good stuff recently but so little time to comment. Oh well, who needs sleep?

The "law" died when the Supreme Court ruled on Roe v. Wade, in essence saying they, the black robed philosopher kings, would tell Americans from thence forward what was permitted or not permitted. Morality? To the elite, that is far too important for common people to decide. The Supreme Court building should have been destroyed and several justices should have been hanged by a mass mob descending on Washington. It didn't happen and "good men" did not fight evil.

Unfortunately, Rep. Gowdy is a few decades too late. The Outer Party will never, ever give up the goodies they have stolen from the rest of us. They have a good thing going and the "law" is but a mere temporary inconvenience until it can be amended, revised or reinterpreted as necessary.
