Looking up images of Michael the Archangel.
There's a VERY limited selection. There is one pose that is replicated ad nausea in different eras, in different media, in slightly different aspects...but nevertheless the same:
And he's always got that sword.
C'mon, people, it's the 21st century. Surely he'd have an AK or at least an AR...
Could somebody get on that, please?
I'll stay tuned.
thanks,

Hmm. I kind of like the sword thing; up close and personal in the war against evil. Would a holstered Colt 1911 do the job for you?
ReplyDeleteAh....a man after my own heart. 1911. My favorite pistol.
ReplyDeleteBut for overall effectiveness against the powers of darkness...I'm thinking long gun with large-capacity mags.
I love my firearms, but I have yet to have to reload one of my knives or my 'hawk. Michael is not worried about any ammo shortage.
ReplyDeleteFor a limited time only and while supplies last ... the original ARCHANGELIC GINSU (aka Demon Dicer, Satan Slicer)
ReplyDeleteBut WAIT! There's more! The first 25 customers to order will receive at no additional cost a genuine INCUBUS IMPALER modeled after the original weapon favored by Romanian vampire killers.
(Not available in stores. Allow 400 years for shipping.)
Well, Michael the Archangel has a super magic sword that can kill another Archangel, which Luci is/was prior to being cast out. Perhaps it is the only weapon capable of his feat.
ReplyDelete.. but not according to the Winchester Gospels ...

Dude! Also huge Supernatural fan....!
DeleteNot impressed with their Angelic swords though. Sort of "stumpy". Effective, but stumpy.
Well, hellhounds and holywater!
DeleteA fellow SPNfamily person!
That just warms my soul
"Stumpy", that's a good description.
Love it!

I'm not going to search for ya, but I'm sure Ann Barnhardt had a whole saints/angels and assault weapons post some time back. You're example is just the tip of the iceberg.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Is that supposed to be an insult...or a tease?? :-)
DeleteWell maybe it was some gratuitous name dropping, or a roundabout way of suggesting you should check out AB on occasion. She did in fact have small series of posts on this with awsome imagery. No insult was intended; posting here is a priviledge, like being invited into your living room. Besides, you're a blond chick with at least a couple of Glocks. I have nothing but compliments. :-) Cheers, Dave.
