Seriously...This is just weird. And tone-deaf.

They're asking people to forego presents for their weddings, anniversaries and birthdays...and have gift-givers donate to Øbama's campaign instead.

I can just imagine the conversation if one of my friends asked me to donate to 'Bama instead of buying her a present.

Yeah...that'd happen.
