The Ultimate Game

...for the Ultimate Prize:  FREEDOM

I've said it before, but I think it bears repeating...Liberty is man's highest value.

Others might say love, or charity, or compassion, or kindness. But really, none of those can exist in their true or mature form without freedom. Serfdom and slavery of the body cripples the heart, the mind, the soul. Yes, the individual great man may spiritually/intellectually transcend his physical situation, but that is not the common lot of the common people...like me...like most of us.

What will you do if Øbama is re-elected and finishes the job he started?

What will you do when everything you do must be "permitted" by the State?

What will you do when everything you own is confiscated...or regulated so closely that it's effectively the same thing?

What will you do when even more of what you earn is taken by the State to be turned over to those who didn't earn it—or to agents of the State to spend on their own lavish lifestyles, pensions, healthcare?

What will you do when a nameless, faceless bureaucrat decides you—or your dying child—will not get a live-saving operation because it costs the State too much money?

What will you do when food is scarce because the State knows it can control hungry people?

What will you do when they come for your guns?

What will you do when gas is so expensive you can't afford to drive your personal car, and are forced into State-run transportation?

What will you do when power is so scarce you don't always have heat when you need it?

What will you do when the very last piece of the Constitution is shredded by those who have sworn to protect it?

What will you do when the corrupt State makes its final move against the citizens?

What will you do when Liberty is gone?

Without Liberty I'd rather be dead.  ("Give me liberty or give me death!")

Without Liberty I'd have nothing to lose.

Without Liberty I would be a Very Dangerous Person.

How about you?
