Abortion is almost mandatory here. Killing babies is pretty near required. But don't EVEN suggest executing a murderer; the State instantly develops a case of the vapors.
You can persecute smokers beyond all reasonable sense and science; but, you better not say anything negative about a pack of filthy Islamic terrorist dogs, or their feelings might get hurt.

I recently purchased an old novel I read in my "formative" hippie years,,when I was 14 in 1973..."Rock Nations",written in 1971,wondering how I would react to it now,with it's counter-cultural theme.Actually,the subtext shows the dichotomy prevalent in the counterculture at the time (and now,of course)...(the control-freak "radicals" personified by the Weather-people the narrator encounters versus the libertine/libertarian impulses ("let it all hang out,but take responsibility for your actions,and treat everyone on a one-on-one basis").It has come down to this,for the control-freak cowards of the so-called Left...Kiss-ass to fascist,woman-hating Islamo-terrorists because of your "white liberal guilt" complex,but get "hard-ass" with someone who smokes cigarettes,while the minorities you claim to care about are effing up their lives immediately with much harder drugs and behavior

ReplyDeleteI quit smoking about ten years ago. They used to have smoking areas in restaurants and airports. Now they will give drug addicts free needles but make smokers go into the wilderness to have a smoke. I'd rather smell cigarette smoke than somebody's BO or mall farters. LOL!
ReplyDeleteThere definitely needs to be a fine line drawn here. Breaking a law is serious business so there should not be the same punishment for a smoker than a murderer. Our justice system HAS to understand this.
