Did you know a Hurricane was coming?

Is anyone else as sick of the coverage of bad weather coming to the CENTER OF THE WORLD STAGE....I mean, the East Coast, as I am?

I know it's critical that I, living in California, know ever tiny fact, speculation and opinion about the upcoming bad weather coming to the MOST IMPORTANT PLACE ON EARTH, the Eastern Seaboard.

Indeed, it's crucial that I am kept up to date 24-7 for days, hour after hour...about the predicted bad weather expected at the COSMIC CULTURAL AND CIVILIZATIONAL NORTH ON THE UNIVERSAL AND MULTI-TIME-DIMENSIONAL HUMAN COMPASS...the Manhattan/D.C. nexus.

SERIOUSLY?

Does one...just one of the news anchors we've been subjected to for days now know what the word "provincial" means?

If anyone in our culture demonstrates provincialism more profoundly that the Network/Cable news media, I've yet to seem/meet them.

It even more annoying/amusing/ironic because they consider themselves almost to a man ultra sophisticated and rather like the dork it the White House...a World Citizen, that refuses to value one culture or civilization over another.

They've all been pantsed once again by Mother Nature, who will insist on reducing the arrogant to fools (and killing off the stupid, no matter how many laws we pass to protect them!)

Today's headlines (yes, still and again, the headlines are screaming about the  EAST COAST HURRICANE) hint that it might just be a bad storm—some bad weather—expected to do the normal amount of damage a summer storm does.

Considering the "News" media's hysteria over that 5.8 East Coast earthquake last week (the size temblor that just stirs a Californian's coffee), I'm just way tired of being force-fed their self-perpetuating and self-aggrandizing panic.

...[sigh]...

  1. Give a liberal a molehill, and they will turn it into a mountain. There is nothing about this hurricane hurricane that is unusuall to the east coast, except the increasing number of liberal synthesized morons that will have the experience. Of course, we know where this going. It is only because of the efforts, planning and foresight of "The One" that the eastern shorline is not 50 miles further west once the storm passes. And if things turn bad, well, don't we need more federal money? After all, "The One" can't turn toilet paper into tax receipts. This is the setup and how it will play out.
