Keen Observation

And it has me thinking serious, deep thoughts:

I knew that hippydom and the radical left had peaked in power when I no longer saw pretty women on Haight Street in San Francisco or on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley.

Women seek out and attach themselves to men and movements with power.

So where does one see the most attractive women these days?
The conservative movement.

Is it possible, that like the individual choices that create the Free Market, beautiful/desireable/high status women, by their individual choices—made individually in their own best interests—might, in fact, give us a glimpse into who's winning the culture wars??

When the face of the left is Rosie O'Donnell, and the right is Sarah Palin, perhaps that alone, for very serious and logical sociological reasons should make us sit up and take notice...

Just an interesting thought...that if mined correctly, might be useful...

  1. Don't know why this should be such a revelation Gun. While the left may have the good looking, vapid bobbleheads of Hollywood, the right has always been a bastion of elegant, beautiful, and intelligent women.
From Abigail Adams to our current group of stunners you ladies have it all.

  2. The reality is that looks to matter to some degree. So I think ugly liberal women like Rosie O'Donnell and Elena Kagan are resentful deep down. They use their leftism to get revenge on a society they believed wronged them for their looks.

    Just my theory.
