The American Gospel

I'm reading a short story about a family, and the odd circumstances under which the two children were raised. On of the boys accepts the rules and dictates of the family culture without question...and one, raised exactly the same way, does not. He questions. He thinks for himself.

And it occurred to me that that is what people are really like. Training and even propaganda can take hold of some...but others are always immune. They question. They think for themselves.

And that brought on an important realization: No matter how hard the Progressives try to make everyone a sheep, a slave on the new plantation, for a lot of people....a lot of kids...that indoctrination just won't take.

All they'll need is exposure to truth...and they'll see it immediately. All they need is help...a word, a book, a conversation.

There are obviously some you just can't save...but there will always be those who are simply waiting for the truth...even if they don't even realize it themselves.

This is comforting because it's easy to believe that because "they have the children" in their bloody lying Progressive schools, there is no hope for the future.

Of course, it's important to do everything we can to change those schools, and take them back. But it's not true that we have a "lost generation" who have been exposed to all the brainwashing and will always buy the bullshit.

There are millions who just haven't yet got the good word...and it's our responsibility, at least until it's time for bullets, to make sure that as many people have the chance to hear it as possible.

I guess I'm saying we need to be the New Missionaries bringing our own "Good News" to the poor savages living in the dark—and that a lot of them will listen, hear us and find their way home.

And we can start with this: The Secret of America at American Thinker, & this Video of Dennis Prager.
