The pathognomic sign that the liberal reaction to sin-cognizant belief systems is a symptom of phobic complex is that it selectively rejects the teachings of its own traditions -- Judaism and especially Christianity. These cultural heritages pose a threat to the liberal wills to pleasure and power. Liberal phobia includes a complex delusional system that exempts some sin-cognizant religions. For example, liberals adore their own version of a morally permissive, designer Buddhism. Nor are they phobic toward Islam, which is based on fiercely sin-cognizant scripture. Liberals maintain mechanisms of denial regarding Islam that rise to the level of psychotic dissociation.

I've made the same points to "liberal" friends,Graybeard...some it reaches,some are beyond the pale in dogma-think,and are zombies.I posit that those who ignore this "cognitive dissonance" (i.e.,selective moral outrage) are,basically...cowards.Gandhi sat back while Nazis made incursions on his beloved India because he knew he could work on Brit guilt. Orwell,especially after his Reality Check in the Spanish Civil War,noted how "pacifists" NEVER do their thang with those who will REALLy call them on their "ethics"...and actually kill them...

In America, it worked. Because Americans care about fair-play and justice. And as long as this government cares about public opinion (and I'm not convinced it does, considering Øbamacare) it will work again.

"Yep"...And not that I'm much of a fan of the Catholic Church (altho,sociologically,it has been a stabilizing force against other,more damaging forces)(and there is beatific beauty in the rites)...the recent media-slams against it re:pedophiliac priests and yada-yada,further shows the cowardice of the "media".It ignores the more heinious crimes on individual liberties wrought by Islam against women,homosexuals,and reformers,etc. That is...why do not these "brave" arbiters take on the mullahs? They are afraid of them.Islam has never had a Reformation.THAT is it's problem,and why until it does,it will remain an evil force.How ironic that the IRA,Gerry Adams,et al,ended up in arms deals with these assholes...
