Another preface/phrase I have a Pavlovian up-chuck reaction to when I hear it,no matter which hack it comes from,is..."The fact of the matter is...". I'm sure there's a spin coming on. Ain't it ironic that the same shitheads who smarmily smirked at Nixon for saying "Let me make this perfectly clear..." when he was about to spin a deceit...At least,Nixon genuinely loved this nation.
