Consider their ideas regarding Taxes, Capitalism, Global Warming, Gun Control, Education, Poverty and race—all of which depend entirely on "their own facts" that bear no resemblance to reality.

ReplyDeleteSorry, tjones, you're wrong on this. In the real world you would be right, but we're talking politics and ideology. For these far wacky liberal, facts aren't based on the real world and observation, but on belief and feeling. (In fact a major liberal said as much recently and I thought Gunny blogged on it but can't remember where.) Remember, they control the schools, university, and most of the media.
Politics and Ideology ALWAYS have to run into Reality,sooner or later.They may attempt to inform/seduce Reality,but the best balance is when Reality informs Them. Since when are "schools,university,and media" anything other than feeble,Human constructs of Reality? Doesn't make them any less dangerous,I admit,given the history of slaughter in the name of Ideology,but so far we have stumbled into survival. Fate always manages to knock the hat off the smug,self-important little dictators.

Never mind what is written in the law of the land, Constitution that means nothing to them. Reminded me of what my Drill Seargent said to us in basic training "It is very hard to not have a shitty out look in life if you are walking around looking out your asshole all the time" Translation quit walking around with your head up your ass ! Unfortunately for us many of the people stumbling around in washington these days have a shitty outlook on life and well misery loves company that is why dems cannot and will not just live by; the live and let live code. They are not content living under the Constitution frankly they would like to abolish it all together because it doesn't fit their marxist agenda and outlook on the way they feel things should be. Pointless to try and argue with them that the sky is blue and This Great Country that they have the "PRIVILEGE" of living in was founded with GOD AND BIG GUNS! So they have no problem what so ever taking that right from you or I because they don't FEEL that we should have those. Their perfect litle world doesn't have crime in it or your personal rights to defend yourself and your family from criminals. They feel that is the goverments job to protect us and that we are criminals because we choose to exercise our rights as Americans to own firearms. Wake up dems and smell the roses before your pushin up daisies!
