From the Mailbag

The Wizard of Oz is 70 years old.

Today, if Dorothy were to encounter
people with no brains, no hearts, and no courage -
She wouldn't be in Oz...

...she'd be in Congress.

  1. Amen to that! And the funny thing is they think we're so stupid that we'll accept anything they do. Not any more. We're coming after them. Remember to support, pray, and vote for Scott Brown running for Kennedy's seat. The Dems are already constructing excuses why Croakly is going to lose! She is THEM and Scott Brown is US. That's why she's not doing well. With an election of this magnitude 5 days away, the Boston Globe is running a front page article about a hummingbird. Twilight zone!

  2. How very true. I wonder if they consider doing a remake of the play on broadway after we vote them out of office? HMMM...... I almost might pay to see that one!

  3. First, as an orphan, Dorothy would never be allowed to stay with a loving, caring aunt and uncle on a farm. She'd be placed in a foster home in a big city to insure that she benefits from diversity and attends a government school where she will be deluged with sex education from the age of six. By the age of thirteen, she would be smoking, drinking, doing drugs, and having sex with guys she just met at a party. Instead of being a dog, Toto would be the baby she had by a fifteen year old boy who's name she didn't bother to learn even if she could figure out which one he was. Meanwhile, Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, would be charged with oppressing a minority group (the Munchkins) and the Wizard of Oz with be branded as an evil white imperialist.
