Who still thinks a great big government that will "take care of us" is a good idea?
That's so bad I can hardly take it in....but it gets worse. The governor instantly requested the Director of "Human SERVICES" (one of those Progressive/State/Orwellian names that means the opposite of what it says..."Services" meaning "Control") to intervene.IRVING TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Each day before the school bus comes to pick up the neighborhood's children, Lisa Snyder did a favor for three of her fellow moms, welcoming their children into her home for about an hour before they left for school.
Regulators who oversee child care, however, don't see it as charity. Days after the start of the new school year, Snyder received a letter from the Michigan Department of Human Services warning her that if she continued, she'd be violating a law aimed at the operators of unlicensed day care centers.
And the Director, Mr. Ahmed, being the compassionate and reasonable State Apparatchik that he is, agreed thusly:
On Tuesday, agency Director Ismael Ahmed said good neighbors should be allowed to help each other ensure their children are safe.Should be ALLOWED???
How nice for us and lucky for Lisa Snyder that the STATE is willing to give its PERMISSION for us to watch our neighbors' kids.
I'm sure she's grateful for its kind benevolence. I know I am.

According to Monster Hunter's International, silver stakes aren't enough for vampires. It slows them down for a bit, but then you have to chop their heads off before they recover.
ReplyDeleteJust sayin'.
Thanks, Larry. This is information we need to have!
