Civil Rights for White Voters. What a Concept!

What seemed like a cover-up, or at least a white-washing of a clearly and criminally racist crime has, it seems, not been allowed to stand after all.

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is taking it seriously, and questioning the Justice Department on why it dismissed their case against the Black Panthers who intimidated white voters at a Philadelphia precinct last year.

Of which behavior there was not only eye-witness and victim accounts...but VIDEO TAPE!

The USCCR is not at all pleased by the DOJ's reasoning and excuses.

One explanation from Justice was that First Amendment (free speech) rights somehow mitigated against greater punishment of the Black Panthers. The commission responded, sensibly: "It is unclear what First Amendment issue would arise by enjoining the [New Black Panther Party] or other racial hate-groups from organizing its members again to carry any weapons (especially when dressed in paramilitary uniforms) at polling places and subject particular voters to racially-bigoted diatribes as they attempt to enter the polls."

The commission also "noted the peculiar logic of the department's court filing that the defendants' failure to respond was the reason for its dismissal of the case against three defendants: Such an argument sends a perverse message to wrongdoers -- that attempts at voter suppression will be tolerated so long as the persons who engage in them are careful not to appear in court to answer the government's complaint."

Kudos to the USCCR for not letting this go. Such intimidation cannot be tolerated...even if the Ă˜bama White House refuses to deal...

  1. I was thinking of this just this morning, that it's time for Americans to take back control of the Civil Rights commissions. Good on 'em!

  2. I was Shocked...SHOCKED. But gratified.

I wonder how long until THAT Commission is, well, out of commission?

  3. I'm glad to see someone still has some balls. If they don't do SOMETHING about these motherfuckers, the next election will feel like Beirut. They'll be out in force nationwide. That little stunt in Philly was just testing the waters. Will we have to start packing heat to exercise our constitutional right to vote? I will, if I have to. They aren't giving us much choice. The voters should've "mobbed" them and given them a blanket party in the parking lot. But, it was Philly after all so someone probably bought them a beer afterwards.

  4. All I am trying to do, with my trolling, is warn the ignorant, that any talk about the over throw
of the government, once it proceeds beyond talk, can land you in prison. And God help you
lunatics, if any harm should come to our elected officials.

  5. Thanks Reaper. We get it. We're thinkers, not emotional lunatics. You're preaching to the choir.

We will never shed first blood.
