Post Card Campaign Begun!

I've order 100 of these, and will be sending them to various and sundry representatives on a regular basis.

If anyone wants the artwork to get them printed, let me know. The total file size of the two PDFs (front & back) is about 1M, so they'll go through most email programs.

I ordered them from Overnight Prints online.

I can't yet vouch for them, as I have not received the post cards, but they seem okay—and until August 3....sale...100 cards was less that $25.00 shipping & tax included.

I know it's hard to read, so....here's the text in close up:

Thanks, especially to Anon (who should identify himself!) and Infidelmonster for their suggestions, links and ideas.

  1. Way cool! I am gonna get me some and see how many of my friends I can get to send them, too. It would make a huge impact if we could get thousands of people to send them.

Who I am is not as important as what I do and why I do it. I love my country and just want some semblance of control brought back to the people. I will tell you I'm female, if that helps. :) Love this site!

  2. Way to rock it out!!!

If you can post a higher res jpeg of this, I would print out poster sized pages and wheat paste them all over the place!

  3. What the other Anon said, except for the female part. This is IT folks. Forward to as many as you can and let the PTB know we are not happy.

Also thanks for the link to G.R.I.P. Haven't explored the whole site yet but it looks good so far.

It's good to know I'm not alone.

  5. Anon...I didn't mean you have to tell us who you ARE...just help us distinguish you from the other "Anons"...

...of course, it is not required :-)

  6. Toaster, I don't know if I can do that on the blog. I've never tried. There must be some way to allow you to download something...I'll try to figure it out.

  7. Toaster, I cannot post a file big enough for printing...

You're going to have to let me email you my 300 dpi artwork pdfs.

You can email me at imxio@yahoo.com and let me know your email...

...but let me know when you do it with a comment here. I don't check that email every day, but I do check the comments daily.

Caveat: this design was created to be a 4 x 6 postcard. I'm not sure it will look good blown up into poster size. The wolf picture started out 72dpi, I upped it to 300 in Photoshop, but that's always half-ass...too much bigger and it might be a mess.

  8. I went all out and ordered 100($35) Primium cards of that other Angry Wolf. I know a few people to hand em out to that will mail them.

  10. You might want to consider using svg (Scalable Vector Graphics) files. They scale well up and down. Inkscape is one open source drawing program for both multiple platforms that you can use to edit them. I assume that other windows major graphics progs like adobe handle them as well.

  11. Thanks derrell, good suggestion.

I use Adobe Illustrator which is a vector graphics program.

Unfortunately that's not the problem. I can create a print ready PDF that everyone can use. I'm just have difficulty figuring out the best way to get it to everyone.

It's the delivery system, not the application format that's giving me trouble.

  12. Didn't realize that you could only upload limited file types to blogger. You could create a googlegroups account where you could upload files and then link to them from your main blog.

  13. Email sent....

I am attending the Bennington battle day parade Aug. 16 with the Campain for Liberty VT. I will make these into signs to carry!

  15. you could put the files in a drop.io account. they allow a huge variation on access restrictions including none.

BTW, there is a typo in the line "For REdistributing our wealth."

    Nice looking cards.

Can't we just download (say..jpg/all files, edit text with paint if necessary), paste or insert to a Wordpad type application and print to paper for FREE?

I could do this now, if I don't mind the loss in graphics. For my use, not a problem. Legal?
