The Lord

When I caught sight of this yesterday, I assumed it was just one of those net-based idiocies. Now I find out it's being unveiled in New York City's Union Square—on the 100th day of ZerO's administration.

What, exactly, is going on here? I'm used to the total irrationality of the Left, but this is moving beyond mere irrationality to actual psychosis. I've said it before, and I guess I'll be saying it for the next four years: This is totally creepin' me out.

Even the title of the piece, "The Truth," suggests a play on biblical themes, as Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Suggests? Ya think?

I hope nobody objects to the comparisons to Hitler anymore. I don't think even he was glorified in public places as Christ—certainly not during the first 100 days of his administration. You can't satirize these people. It's impossible to find anything too over-the-top for them to actually do.

Or for President IHAG* to say.

  1. I had to click on the link to read the story. The first thing I found at the site was an advertisement for a colon flush. How appropriate! If they put an egregious gob of crap art like that in a public place it makes one wonder if society has gone insane? Cripes!
