Is this guy telling the truth?
He is talking about a checkpoint WELL WITHIN the United States, not a border crossing.
Let's hope we get some confirmation or debunking of this. If it's true, it's very serious. If not...well, it's a convincing hoax, if a stupid and dangerous one.

There is a blog called Roadblock Revelations that is devoted to exposing these internal checkpoints. They have more information about this incident as well as others, including an ongoing lawsuit stemming from a similar, although not as violent, event a few years back. It's been going on a long time. Here's the link.
