Citizen Activists

I went to an organizational meeting yesterday for a Tea Party to take place locally on April 15.

In the Leftist Paradise of the San Francisco Peninsula I expected to find three people huddling in a broom closet... in the dark.

But I was surprised by a very nice turnout of people anxious to "do something", who have "had it" and understand how bad things are, and and that if we don't do it, nobody will. The leader of the group told us that she was fielding calls all day in response to her posting info on the event. She's confident that there will be hundreds of people in attendance.

You can find info about Tax Day Tea Parties in your State here: Choose Your State

Most Americans are more conservative than Leftist...and if we just communicate with each other, and organize ourselves, we'll be the biggest "special interest group" in the country—but we can't just sit around and bitch [damnit!] we have to do the work.

I'm not a joiner and I'm not a big activist, but if we're going to save our country, I'm going to have to do it anyway. The Founders dedicated their lives to bring America into existence, and many since have given their lives for its defense and survival. Whether I like it or not, whether I'd rather be doing it or not, it's my (our) turn to do whatever it takes to make sure we don't let this wonder of history, the noble American Experiment perish from the earth.

Check it out. Join the 912 Project.

  1. I'm definitely going to have to participate in this here in OK. I'll be on the capital steps with the rest of the revolutionaries.

  3. Like you I am a joiner and not much of an activist. I would like to be more active, but there's a reason I am hesitant to do more...namely I work for the beast. And despite my fellings on things, I cannot jeopardize my employment...and clearance by being too visible. I'll rant away on my blog and donate money when i can, I'll even send tea bags, but standing on the steps of the state capital here in AZ...well, I may have to draw the line there, unless of course, I get laid off due to lack of military funding....
