One Nice Thing About Obama

Yes. Seriously. I have something nice to say about Zero.

The other day, when the infamous Henrietta Hughes begged the Messiah for "please help" because she wanted her own bathroom and her own kitchen, (we'll get to the rest of her story later), Zero asked the woman her name.

When she replied, "Henrietta Hughes", Zero immediately addressed her as "Miz Hughes."

That was terribly respectful and sweet. And unlike almost anyone else in politics today, who would have called her "Henrietta" in the self-important, condescending, right-of-kings sort of manner most of them have adopted.

And Zero did it without calculation (for once). It was his natural, first, impulsive response.

I liked it. For once he revealed a little modesty—or good training—even as President, showing instinctive respect to a person much older than himself.

Okay. That's it. First and, no doubt, last time I'll ever say anything nice about the prick. But fair's fair. It was nice.

  1. Hate to burst your warm fuzzy moment but the woman was a "plant."

He knew she'd be there and get the microphone. He'd rehearsed it in his head long beforehand.

So, y'know, as you were, soldier!

    :o)

  2. Did you know she ran from consumer debt in NY? She's only been in Florida for, like two weeks.

  3. Yeah, and she's apparently run this game before, in 2004.
