"The Couple" Wouldn't Make it On American Idol

Today's little speech by ShamBama is further evidence that the man is a phony. Almost every single thing that came out of his mouth is demonstrably untrue.

I am becoming convinced that he is not "lying", but merely saying what he is told to say, assuming it to be true.

He spoke as though he were personally responsible for the Magical-Mystery Bill. And he described it and its effects in terms that were nothing short of hallucinatory.

I have a fair bullshit-detector, and this guy's signals are all wrong.

Of course, he may just be a VERY GOOD LIAR, which I admit is entirely possible—he is a Leftist tool, after all. I don't mean "good" as in "I believe him", but "good" as in "he appears to believe what he's saying"...but knows full well that this is a recipe for disaster for the nation, and that is exactly what he has in mind, for whatever sick reasons of his own...even though there is a great possibility it will tarnish forever his "legacy" with historians and future generations, who will curse him as the man who destroyed their prosperity and stole their freedom.

The only other options are that (a) he is extraordinarily stupid, and really believes that this pork fest of payoffs to Leftist activists and albatrosses around the necks of businesses are somehow actually going to jump start the economy - and the level of stupidity necessary for that would render him unable to tie his shoes; (b) he has no idea what's in the bill, and is merely saying what he's told. And has such a small command of economics, or any other practical knowledge, that he is easily led into such foolishness, and because of the perks of being "President", his innate laziness, his lackluster education, his ambition for the honor & adulation but not the work...he's perfectly content to pretend to be "President" while others do the actual business of governing. Or, rather, in this case, "ruling".

Everything he said today was wrong. From the characterization of this bill, to the intention of it authors , to the expected results, to his promise that "he" will be introducing more legislation...with the clear implication that he was somehow intimately involved in the Magical Mystery Bill.

It was entirely fiction. Bad fiction. An author wouldn't have dared write the scene. Nobody reading such an account would have believed it. No editor would have approved it.

We have truly passed into the twilight zone.

Until he proves he is actually the spawn of the Devil, about which, I am still open-minded, I will contend that this man is a marionette.

And if his behavior and that of the Goblin this week are any indication, I think his masters are going to regret having chosen him as the face of their conspiracy. There is no modesty, no shame, no sense of decorum, no self-checking awareness of time and place, of situational appropriateness in "The Couple". They appear to be undisciplined and self-indulgent , oblivious to the impression they are making.

And self-indulgent, conceited, splurging quasi-royals with a mammoth sense of entitlement are not popular with Americans.

If you doubt it, watch American Idol. Many elitists sneer at the the popularity of that show, but it tells you something about what Americans value. And the snarky, proud, conceited, self-centered and snotty don't make it far. Regular old Americans like self-effacing, modest, helpful, kind, hard-working, generous, and yes, truly talented people.

Good luck with THAT, Democrats. If ShamBama and the Goblin don't clean up their act (and Lord I hope they don't) they are going to find themselves among the bottom three* real soon.
