This is so good, I can't stand it. Comment at American Spectator by culper, jr.
That is just all kinds of brilliant! It is all so much easier to understand if viewed from the perspective of a liberal. As an ex-girlfriend once told me: "I am open-minded. Since you disagree with me, that makes you closed-minded."
That, I think, is the Rosetta Stone of liberal thinking.
The Gunslinger
Somewhat akin to "Why can't we compromise and do it my way?"
ReplyDeleteSo open-minded her brains are gonna fall out....
ReplyDeleteFantastic explanation!
That's the Rosetta Stone of wing-nut thinking, either liberal or conservative.
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to remember that one I think you may have figured them out!
ReplyDeleteOne problem - after reading your blog for months I just can't picture you with "hands fluttering in excited anticipation". . . . .
= )
JD...okay you got me there. Call it "poetic license".
ReplyDeleteAlphaDog, there IS a place for: "We compromised. We did it her way."
ReplyDeleteIt's called marriage.
Of this, I approve.
*grin*
Folly...and they say we Conservatives can't learn "new tricks"!
ReplyDeleteChristy....LOL! There's another funny line, which doesn't exactly apply but it's funny too:
"He's so one-sided he won't play both sides of a phonograph record."
(It helps if you're old enough to know what a "phonograph record" is...)
Steve, yes...the 10 million of Liberal moonbats, and the ten Conservative wingnuts living in a cabin without plumbing in Idaho, share this trait.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see that you too recognize that one Conservative Wingnut is worth a million Liberal Moonbats.
Equity in cukooism thereby achieved!
God, I can only hope we're down to 10 conservative wing-nuts. It seems like the ones who supported Bush have either hidden themselves in shame, or are now pretending they never supported Bush in the first place.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, the far left is feeling it's oats. In our fair 'burg, where I used to argue with conservatives, now I find myself arguing with liberals. I hope they don't screw up the country the same way the far-right conservatives did. (I don't think they will, since Obama is much more pragmatic than Bush, and won't simply let others tell him what to do.)
If by "pragmatic" you mean he goes for personal gain by "whatever means necessary", I would certainly have to agree.
