Okay. Now Sean Hannity is lecturing me on how we have to unite behind our new office-holder elect. He is saying that we "all want him to succeed".
What does that mean? Is he speaking in code? I can't decipher it.
Does "succeed" mean "govern like a conservative"? I'd certainly like Obie to "succeed" at that!
But since that's well beyond the furthest reaches of reason, what else can he mean?
Am I to hope that Obie will succeed in "fundamentally transforming America" as per his campaign promises, into the Marxist paradise of his Utopian vision?
I'm sorry, but I really don't hope he "succeeds" at that. Indeed, if that is his goal, I hope he crashes and burns like the Hindenburg...the sooner the better.
Obie, a man I entirely disapprove of, has been elected to the highest office in my country. This demonstrably unworthy man has snatched the brass ring through the machinations of enormous and questionable funding, a fawning, servile, lying Media, persistent deceit and racial politics.
As far as I'm concerned, he's had entirely too much "success" already.
If I believed there was the slightest chance of his redemption, I would fervently wish him success in attaining it. But I don't. I believe his biggest motivation is personal ambition and that every idea he has is dangerous to the freedom and future of America.
Because I so firmly believe this, my fondest hope is that his every policy and program be blocked, that his every maneuver be frustrated, that the media come to their senses and reveal the reality of this man to the duped electorate, and that he serve one term of a crippled and ineffective administration.
After which a reinvented Radical Republican Party retake government.
If he can "hope", I can "dream".

"Bulletin"d your "We The Scapegoats" post on my myspace page last night.Got a reply from an actual old friend/former bandmate saying "Love ya,but sorry to see you posting Neo-Con Fascist Limbaughesque bullshit,lightness won over darkness,let's all get behind him,we'll see blahblah blah".To quote former-Demo buddy of mine today (who FINALLY turned after Pelosi/Reid ascendancy),"In 6 months, after Obama fuck-ups and disasters,you won't find anyone who will admit they voted for him".For now,I'm not answering my old friend.I'll let him witness the unraveling of His Fraudulency for himself.Already this a.m. at break area,Obamabots were talking about victory speech-"He's already backtracking on promises!".I just smiled...

Funny, I NEVER listen to Hannity...only because of the dearth of afternoon programming today, I tuned him in.
Obama has set himself up,all for the Ego-glow,and when The Masters pull their puppet-strings,you betcha he dances to their tune.No surprise,and the gullible guppies who bought into his spiel about "change"...C'mon...Rohm Emanuel as Chief of Staff? Mister Hack,who should've been in prison long ago,but for technicalities.To trumpet my own State,election was good,potentially,since actual grass-roots conservatives GAINED ground (increased majority)in State Houses,and as majority they have the power to name Treasurer and other key offices in our set-up.Apparently,Tennesseans did their part better than this Country...And as for "real-live" Obots,their attention span is VERY short,and they are children in outlook,so if "Daddy O" says "Not so fast"..BABY GETS CRANKY.WANT NOW! ReplyDeleteI came to the conclusion that 0bama is too in love with his own success to ever care about mine, or for that matter anyone else's. It wouldn't surprise me if his own party looks to kick him to the curb as soon as possible after he takes office. Screw him, and screw anyone that says "give him a chaaaaance, we want him to succeeeeeeeed".
