Not a Turncoat, An Opportunist

Colin Powell endorses Barack Obama. Because he's black. And any hysterical, pseudo-outraged protestations to the contrary don't hold a teardrop's worth of water.

When he claims it's not about race, he's...uh... lying.

I haven't liked or trusted Powell for years. I think he's another political scumbag, who believes "truth" is anything that advances his agenda. His pretense of being a Republican (when it was politically advantageous—black Republicans get noticed!) has always been farcical to real Republicans.

Now he's painting himself as a Liberal.

Old "colon" is hustling his next big government job. But Posy-Toed-Obie better be careful. He should note the loyalty and respect the general gave his last boss.
