Not His Auntie's Keeper

Did Obama really say, last night, that "I am my brother's keeper; I am my sister's keeper"?

Did Obamas' poor old auntie really just get found in a Boston slum?

Did Obama's poor old uncle really just get evicted from his residence?

Did Obama's poor cousin really get discovered living in a hut in Kenya on a dollar a month?

I guess Obie's not his Auntie's keeper, or his Uncle's keeper or his Cousin's keeper.

Of course, being his Auntie's, Uncle's or Cousin's keeper would involve spending his own money. That's not on, apparently. After all, if he actually gave to charity out of his own wealth, how could he and the Harpy have $500 worth of lobster, caviar and champagne for an afternoon snack at the Waldorf Astoria?

What he really meant was that he's going to make sure you are the keeper of his Aunt & Uncle and, with his Global Redistribution scheme, even his Cousin in Kenya.

I should be fair, though and mention he did give $20,000 to Jeremiah Wright's church. And when he was in control of other people's money he did "spread it around" to his friends...

So shouldn't he really have said, "I am my supporters' keeper! I am my cronies' keeper"?
