Jennifer Rubin at Commentary Magazine blog "contentions", doesn't mince words. She claims Obama isn't guilty of mere hypocrisy...he's guilty of downright fraud.
Read it here.
Rush makes a similar point this morning. Noting that Obama has no moral code or standard, but that everything he does or says is based only on how far it will advance his career.
This does explain the flip-flops, the bald-faced lying denials of things he has said, the clumsy parsing of "meaning"...the different stories he tells different demographic groups.
And one may even be forgiven for wondering whether he has any "ideology" at all. It appears that he merely advanced what was most convenient and useful for him to "get ahead" in the vile and corrupt Chicago Machine. What was good or right had little to do with decisions, alliances or votes.
Given the neglect of Chicago education during his tenure as head of the Annenberg Challenge, it's hard to believe he's dedicated to improving education; and given the scandalous condition of slums in Chicago, built by his "developer" friends, Rezko et al, with millions that Obama guided into their pockets, it's hard to believe he's dedicated to "affordable housing", or cares about the "poor".
The one thing that DID happen as a result of both of these monumental failures, is that Barack Obama's career got nicely juiced—and so did his bank account—and his political war chest.
The only common denominator of everything Barack Obama has ever done or said has been their usefulness in increasing his political power, his personal status, and his wealth.
I have accused him of being a unreconstructed Marxist. But I'm not so sure. I think he may just be a conniving demogogue who will use any means to get the power he so clearly believes he is "entitled" to, and that collectivism has been shown to be very effective in that regard.
Either way, he really, really needs to lose this election, and go back to the swamp he came from.

I think he is doing something else too. . . The longer this goes and the more people learn about him the more damage he is doing to his race.
ReplyDeleteHe is undoing years of gains by black Americans with what he does, and the way so many of the inner city folk follow him like a cult leader.
It may take years for African Americans to undo the damage of Obama and his race games to get to the White House. . .
Because of the way Blacks are responding, and the "race" card they keep playing, I find myself resenting him and them.
ReplyDeleteNot good for race relations. Too bad, too. It could have been a truly historic moment. One for all of us to celebrate.
