21 ReasonsHat tip to Pete.
Why Sarah Palin Should not be Elected Vice-President of the United States:
1. She is a Woman.
2. She does not believe in killing babies, born or unborn.
3. She is NOT endorsed by Susan Sarandon, Jane Fonda, Rosie O'Donnell, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Geraldine Ferraro, Barbara Walters, Helen Thomas, Ellen DeGeneris, Ted Kennedy, Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, Barbra Streisand, David Letterman, or others who fervently believe in a Woman's Right to Choose (to kill babies).
4. She is married to a Foreigner--a species called 'Native American'--meaning her five children are half-breeds.
5. She has on more than one occasion expressed PRIDE in the United States of America .
6. Unlike decent, self-respecting Democrats everywhere, she has a 17-year-old daughter who became pregnant out of wedlock.
7. She is a member of the American Riflemen's Association / actually owns firearms / and knows how to use them.
8. She has killed a moose, among other animals--and spreads the propaganda that it is hunters, through their license fees, that keep American wildlife from becoming extinct.
9. She often does her own grocery and other household shopping.
10. She drives a car, and flies a plane.
11. She chose to give birth to a defective child, rather than allow a skilled Abortion Doctor to kill it for her.
12. She refuses to apologize for seeking the termination of an Alaskan State Trooper just because he applied a gentle taser to his 12-year-old stepson (who, of course, happened to be Gov. Palin's nephew).
13. She is inexperienced. And she refuses to admit that her duties as the chief executive in the State of Alaska are nowhere near equal to those of a public servant who was once a Community Organizer, or that of a United States Senator who has carried the awesome burden of overseeing a staff of political appointees.
14. She has a son who is in the U.S.. Military, soon to be deployed to the Persian Gulf--probably making her prejudiced against all the peaceful Muslims in that part of the world.
15. She is on Oprah Winfrey's 'Do Not Invite' list.
16. She professes to be a Christian, but has no 'Spiritual Adviser'--even though Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who served Sen. Obama in that capacity for 20 years, is now available.
17. She isn't really a 'beauty queen,' as advertised. She was only the runner-up in the Miss Alaska Contest; and Alaska is not a very populous state, anyway.
18. The Obama-Biden ticket is favored over McCain-Palin, 80% to 20%, by our friendly allies in France.
19. Her children are not properly trained in hygiene. (Did you see her 7-year-old daughter shamelessly lick the entire palm of her hand at the Convention, then use it to slick down the hair of her little brother?)
20. She is of mixed English, German, and Irish ancestry--and you KNOW you can't trust the Limey's, Krauts, or Micks.
21. Back to No. 1: This is the one that really galls modern, liberal 'feminists.' Gov. Palin is a Woman, a female-type wife and mother, who shaves her legs, wears makeup, dresses smartly, often cooks meals for her family, doesn't give a hoot about the National Organization for Women or the all-powerful Teachers Unions--and obviously will never, ever fit in as a member of the Washington Elite.
Add #22. She's a decent and honorable person: a species seldom seen in Washington.
The Gunslinger
Uh... you've heard her speak, right? She doesn't know what she's saying half the time!
ReplyDeleteIf she is elected as VP I am going to lose a lot of faith in America.
Yes, I've actually heard her speak when not being ambushed and land-mined by Chuckie or Katie.
ReplyDelete(Which behaviors lost them all credibility. Well, OK, Katie never had any. But Gibson exposed himself as a true tool with his pretentious poppycock about the "Bush Doctrine")
The Beauteous Sarah is smart, articulate, knowledgeable, charming and funny.
More important, she has a fine character, good values, and sound judgment.
And she REALLY pisses snotty elitist Liberals off...which just makes her that much more delightfully precious to us Conservatives who love her to pieces.
She seems more like someone I could enjoy a beer with, then someone with broad understanding of foreign policy, economics, defense, etc.
ReplyDeleteIf McCain had chosen, say, Condoleezza Rice, or another prominent Republican, I would have more respect for his campaign.
You are listening to the wrong media. The Obamedia...who lie.
ReplyDeleteThey have an all-out, full-on campaign to make her look as stupid as possible. Don't buy it. They're indoctrinating you. Props due: They're REALLY good at it. They've had a LOT of practice.
Her accomplishments as Mayor and Governor are almost legendary.
All while being a loving mother and wife.
Not something you hear much about, eh? And she's the most popular Governor in the entire United States...both Dems and Repubs adore her in Alaska...
...except her direct rivals, and the assholes she exposed as criminals and frauds, of course.
The notion that she's not smart is a FANTASY completely created by the Mainstream Media, the wholly owned subsidiary of the DNC. It is bullshit, pure and simple.
I didn't say she wasn't smart. My point is that being a governor or mayor doesn't teach you anything about "foreign policy, economics, defense, etc"
ReplyDeleteAnyway, not much time left to argue now ;)
Be careful assuming what sources I get my news from. You're very often wrong in your assumptions about me.
It's hard to read:
ReplyDelete"Uh... you've heard her speak, right? She doesn't know what she's saying half the time!"
...and not make the inference that you're calling her stupid.
I really don't see how that can be read any other way.
I make the assumption as to where you get your news, because you often parrot the MSM and their hopeless liberal bias.
Couric has her good moments of "gotcha" with Palin...when Sarah sounded goofy. But other than that, she sounds just fine, sharp, informed. She is far more experienced in things that matter for the Presidency than Obama.
I can't see how there's any discussion about that. He's done precisely NOTHING of note.
He's occupied positions, yes. But he has not actually accomplished anything, or apparently even engaged particularly IN those positions.
I just don't see where you get the absurd idea that Palin is too inexperienced...and Obama is not.
It flies in the face of all facts on the ground.
Never MIND her good judgment, good values, good character, sense of responsibility, and the fact that she tells the truth.
His judgment obviously sucks. Look at his friends. He doesn't have any character. What values? Sense of responsibility?...see his blood family living in poverty, while he makes millions. And as for lying...paleeze. That's the man's middle name.
The man doesn't even care that there is video of himself contradicting himself on almost every issue he has discussed. He says what he thinks his listeners want to hear, then accuses his critics of "creating distractions from the issues" when they try to pin him down on said "issues" because he's said six different things.
He's as slippery as an eel. I don't even believe he's smart. I think he's clever. And, of course, he's being given a totally free ride by our upstanding media...right into a job he is totally unprepared for, and utterly unworthy of.
He has so little respect for the Office, and such an inflated sense of himself, it's hard not to wonder if he doesn't suffer from some kind of actual psychotic delusion.
At the very least, his narcissism is obvious and troubling in the extreme in a man who may be president.
What can I say, jag?
That one could worry about Palin's readiness or fitness in light of her very real accomplishments, especially when compared to this hollowman of nil accomplishments— strikes me as ludicrous.
..and not make the inference that you're calling her stupid.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to pretend I knew what I was talking about on National TV, I would sound like her. I'm not stupid. I wouldn't run for VP though.
I don't even know what the MSM is. Suffice it to say I play the Devil's advocate more often than not.
Anyway, Gunslinger, God bless.

Be you blessed too, my friend.
