Sneaking In

Perceptive analysis of the Obie phenomenon from a commenter at American Thinker:

"BHO is nothing more than a Trojan Horse. His candidacy is the vehicle by means of which the George McGovern/Henry Wallace, socialist/pacifist wing of the Democrat Party is seeking to gain control of power in Washington. BHO has been cynically promoted by the left, not because of his political talent, but because of his media appeal. He provides the left with something that it has never had - a candidate whose opinions and accomplishments are completely overshadowed by his all-important skin color.

The radicals hope to slip this historical [sic] person through the door before anyone notices his far-left voting record and associations. BHO provides the radical left with two things: 1) a blank slate on which the mushy-headed in the electorate can write whatever they wish and 2) a person whose skin color makes critisising [sic] him problematic. Thus he can pander as much as he wishes to all of those who are looking for a political savior. He can lie all he wants to those who believe, because of Democrat propaganda, that they are powerless and exploited.

But it is not BHO whom we should fear. Rather it is the shadowy backers and handlers who are the power behind the Obama candidacy that should be feared. It is their agenda that will be promulgated when Obama is in the Oval Office.

  1. Of course, the Biden pick was done by the national Demo rulers to blah blah blah. Excited co-worker came in for the second shift today to gimme the news re:Palin. As a deer-hunting,bass-fishing good ole boy Democrat fence-sitter deciding whether to stay home this fall,he was more excited about Ms.Palin than I was. Many others may have more "deep" reasons to vote McCain/Palin,but he just likes a strong woman who can handle a gun.And he liked her talk on tv,no bs.He loved seeing her family, also.I think a door just opened to break the Obama-spell,a real ju-jitsu moment....

  2. If "we" pull this out, I have a feeling this may turn out to be the moment we began to leave Obie in the dust.
