I usually don't care about running mates...but this time, I confess, I might just be a little excited about this one!
She's a member of the NRA, hunts, races snowmobiles, one of her sons has just enlisted in the military. She's Pro-Life, has a Downs Syndrome child...Her husband is an oil-rig worker and commercial fisherman...talk about "relating" to regular working people!
She's a serious reformer...including of her own political party!
On the surface, she looks like a brilliant choice. If she turns out to be as good as she looks, not only will we have a great candidate...I'll have to admit that John McCain might be a lot smarter and more cunning than he looks.

ReplyDeleteI'd been holding out hope for Kay Baby Hutcheson but this is even better. My apathetic attitude this election has just been given a big shot in the arm.
Just what I was feeling. I'm listening to the announcement live, via Rush's show, and I actually feel excited, and even a little thrilled.

Watching her on FOX; will actually be sending money to McCain now that he's got her on board. Without a doubt a true breath of fresh air.
