Rock Star Disses Obie's "Rock Star" Label

Here is Ted Nugent on Obie's acceptance speech. It's pretty much what you'd expect. He feels just like us. Nothing he says is surprising. Though it's always nice to have your opinions validated by others.

But one thing he said is really cool, and highly evocative: Obie isn't a Rock Star, he's a one-hit-wonder Pop Star.

Given the "Sixteen Magazine" image-only appeal of Obie so far, his stagnating polls, and his inability to reprise his early hit...I'd say Ted's onto something here.
