Just a Mistake

Read this.

The Mexican military is coming across the border—into our country, holding border patrol agents at gunpoint. "Oh", says the U.S. Government, "Silly citizens, it was just a mistake!"

Let's see, Ramos and Compean, American Border Patrol Agents, trying to stop violent drug smugglers are sentenced to 10 years in prison for doing their job? But an incursion by the Mexican Military—known to protect said drug smugglers—is just a mistake? Holding our Border Agents at gunpoint is just a error? They just got lost?

I guess the Mexicans don't have GPS in their SUV's.

Wait, one more time, let me get this straight: If a U.S. Border Patrol Agent prevents a criminal Mexican drug smuggler from entering the country illegally, and tries to catch him, on our side of the border, the U.S. Border Patrol Agent goes to jail for 10 years. But, if the Mexican Army crosses the border in a raid, and holds our U.S. Border Patrol Agents hostage at gunpoint, it's all just a misunderstanding? And we all just fondly kiss each other's peckers and promise to do lunch?

By the way... just heard another radio ad for people to apply for the Border Patrol.

Yeah, right.

Is is possible for our own government to be more out of control? Apparently Mexico has at least one successful export: Corruption.

Honestly? I don't know how much longer I can take it.
