Are Liberals just stupid, or actually evil?

The reason I ask is that Liberal policies make every problem worse. I honestly can't think of one that hasn't.

South Africa and Rhodesia were prosperous, stable, modern states. Liberals demanded the removal of the White government in favor of Black Rule. Now both countries are descending into chaos, violence, corruption and poverty.

The Liberals "won" America's withdrawal from Vietnam for "peace". It resulted in the violent slaughter of millions of Cambodians and Vietnamese.

The Liberals insisted that poor blacks be supported and housed as part of the "War on Poverty". Welfare resulted in the destruction of the black family, the black community, generations of hopelessly dependent, under-class blacks and ghettos of "public housing" where blight, gangs, drugs and violence are a way of life.

The Liberals demanded that blacks be held to lower standards, lower test scores, lower requirements for jobs and college entry...so they could "compete" with whites. Affirmative Action resulted in resentment by displaced whites and the frustration and failure of blacks promoted beyond their competence.

The Liberals demanded that businesses pay unskilled workers a minimum wage. It resulted in unskilled people losing their jobs as employers struggled to cope with the higher cost of labor.

The Liberals demanded that tax rates be increased because the government needed more money. It resulted in lower revenue...less money actually collected in taxes by the State.

These liberal policies not only failed their stated objectives, they made every situation measurably worse. Yet Liberals refuse to acknowledge these actual consequences and continue to push the same failed agenda.

What the hell is going on here?

Are Liberals just stupid or actually evil? Is there another possibility? Are they mentally ill? Delusional? Are they mind-controlled by some unknown interplanetary power?

How can you watch your "solutions" produce disasters & catastrophes time and again, and never ever wonder whether your ideas are flawed? Can a fully functional adult human being, within the average bell curve of intelligence operate like that?

Obviously a fully functional, reasonably intelligent adult to whom results matter, could not watch their ideas produce calamity after calamity and not question them.

However, an intelligent human could operate like that if they don't care about consequences. But what can that mean? What other reason could they have for proposing and promoting their agenda if it isn't to do what they claim?

Now before I go any further, I want to give credit where credit is due, and admit that lots of Liberals are, in fact, merely stupid, and are unable to connect action with consequence...and therefore can continue to imagine, because their ideas seem good they do good.

John McCain fits into this category.

But I think it fair to say that there is some evidence that not all Liberals are cretins. Therefore, we have to come to some satisfactory explanation of their continuing to advocate policies that are destructive to the very people they claim to care about and to the very country they claim to love.

And that takes us to two distinct levels of Evil.

The first is: Greed & Ambition. These people have discovered that promising certain things and implementing certain policies, regardless of their efficacy, bring power, fame, privilege and wealth. They will change their politics and their policies depending on the mood of the constituency. They can be pro-war or anti-war as necessary. They can be pro-welfare or anti-welfare as required. They can be pro/anti Free Trade, Income Taxes, Business, Guns, God or Gambling as called for. The results of their policies are immaterial except insofar as they generate immediate and plentiful personal rewards for themselves.

That is certainly evil. And the more their Liberal policies do actual harm to actual people, cultures, communities and countries the worse it is. But its seat is the shallow, cheap evil of personal aggrandizement and monetary gain.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are good examples of this type.

While Satan delegates this low temptation to his flunkies, he takes a more personal interest in the second, deeper, darker level of evil, which entails doing purposefully what the Stupid do unintentionally, and the Greedy & Ambitious do tangentially.

This is harder to explain because from my perspective it's rather like the comic book villain that wants to "destroy the earth." The point of it all is vexedly unclear. And the motives are always melodramatic and megalomaniacal.

Someone who isn't Stupid can see the catastrophic consequences of Liberal policies throughout the decades. They can see the harm, pain, death, misery, starvation, poverty, dependence, hopelessness caused by them.

Someone who isn't blinded by Greed and Ambition doesn't have the cheap, low, animal drive to support anything, no matter how harmful, just to reap private material benefits in the here and now.

Someone who both sees the calamitous results of Liberal policies, and doesn't have the blinding primitive compulsion to use them for personal gain, yet still supports and promotes them is doing so mindful of their perfect record of failure to effect their stated goals, and their consistently devastating consequences for millions of people. He is calculated, reasoned, logical and determined to implement failed and harmful policies on his fellow man for some reason that only he can understand, or see to be necessary or right. The misery inflicted on millions of others is a price he's willing to pay to accomplish some greater goal, some higher good.

Because he knows better. He is the hand of destiny. He is the healer and messiah.

I think we know which candidate is Satan's special boy who is willing to destroy what he claims to love and sacrifice those he claims to represent in service of his dark, superior, exalted vision.
