More "Typical White People"

Obie isn't very good at keeping his nasty, little inner opinions a secret. He surrounds himself with people who screech his racist ideas from pulpits and stages. He either marries them, or puts them on his campaign staff. He's described his idea of "typical white people" at a press conference, while attempting to explain his choice of a black racist "spiritual mentor" (of which, it turns out there are several!)

And now he's blurted out his opinion of Americans who go to church because they believe in God—not Black Separatist Politics—and who actually understand what the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States means, why it's important, and agree with it, and are against the flood of illegal aliens swamping our country:

"It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them, or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Apparently, people who go to church and own guns are frightened, bitter, racist people who "cling" to these crutches because they are frustrated with economic conditions.

I wonder what happens to them when times are good? Do they stop going to church? Stop believing in God? Sell their guns? Date illegal aliens?

And this is the second time he has talked about white people being afraid or feeling "antipathy" toward "people who aren't like them". What is this dude's problem? How many white people does this guy actually know?

What color are the people who risked life and limb to go to new places, discover new lands, deal with every conceivable sort of person who "aren't like them"? What color are the people who are the explorers of history? What color are the people who gave their lives to missionary work, living and ministering to millions of people who "aren't like them"?

What color are the people who are putting on "Idol Gives Back" and every single major benefit on the planet for "people who aren't like them"? What color are the people who invented the United Nations with the intentions (no matter how badly it worked out) of keeping peace in all the world, including lands with lots of "people who aren't like them"?

What color are the people who pressured and "divested" from South Africa in support of "people who aren't like them"? All those rich black investment brokers running Wall Street and hedge funds?

And what the hell color are the idiots in Europe who are allowing their nations to be swamped, their cultures ruined, their economies depressed and their law and order broken down by millions and millions of "people who aren't like them"?

And what the fuck color were the heroes who emancipated the black "people who aren't like them" slaves in America, and fought the most bloody, costly, horrendous war in the history of the nation in order to do so?

And what color are most of the fools who are "clinging" to this racist reprobate out of goodwill and idealism (misplaced as it may be) in order to make a better world for "people who aren't like them"?

This man is the worst kind of demagogue...a stupid one.

And no matter what this idiot says, or how blatant his disdain for "typical white" Americans, because of his race, which seems to make him untouchable in this country utterly obsessed with it..he just might become the next President of the United States.

And that is what nightmares are made of.
