Wow, more fallout from the unravelling of Eliot Spitzer. What do I know from NY State politics? I really had no idea about the Lt. Governor there.
But this guy is a doozy. May be the stupidest elected official in the history of the world.

If Spitzer is responsible for this guy being second in command (I don't know if he's chosen, voted for as part of a ticket, or voted for independently) he [Spitzer] is a real hyena. I mean that in a bad way.
Spitzer is a bully who uses the coercive power of the State to ruin people he doesn't like, and chooses perhaps the most incompetent, clueless, and potentially the stupidest politician ever, to be his second in command?
Did he do it on purpose? Maybe he thinks if people realize that Paterson will ascend if Spitzer goes down, they might be disposed to leave him in office, after all.
Considering the utter immorality of the man, I honestly would not be surprised.
Or maybe he'd figures he'll enjoy watching Paterson bring NY to its knees if it ever dares to toss him out on his unscrupulous, nefarious ass.
Of course, New Yorkers voted for him, even after seeing his version of "law enforcement officer", so I figure they pretty much deserve what they get.

Had Paterson's bill passed, I expect we would have seen resignations of monumental proportion of New York LE.

He's been an outspoken supporter of Hillary.

I'm sure he'll prostitute himself to whoever is in the best position to further advance him politically.
