Materialists and Islamists

Linda Kimball is saying so much in this essay, that it's hard to summarize any better than: If we let the Modern Liberals have their way, we will lose our souls.

She identifies the causes, and the implications of Materialism in our culture. And she reiterates what is a fundamental belief of my own: If you damage the foundation, the structure falls.

The idea that our Declaration of Independence, with its "unalienable rights" will survive the death of God is a fantasy of the mindless Left.

If God does not exist, unalienable rights granted by Him clearly cannot exist. If rights don't come from God, that is, a higher authority than Man, then Man is their only source, and they can be withdrawn, changed, limited or revoked by Man.

And this is what we see in the Modern Liberal Materialist philosophy. It seeks the power to decide which rights which people ought to have, and in what combination and to what degree. It comes down to Power. It always comes down to power.

What we call the Left, the Lords of Materialism, are the most power-hungry, incipient tyrants in history. Even Caligula was satisfied with Rome. The New Caesars want the World.

And they will do or say whatever it takes to gain it. Materialism has no morals beyond what will advance its influence, increase its power. In that, Modern Liberal Materialists are identical to Radical Islamists which find it "moral" to lie, cheat, steal and murder as long as it is done in the service of their own increasing power.

We have to understand the Modern Liberal Materialist as the mortal enemy of all we cherish.

So far, he's winning.
