The Kerry Challenge

John Kerry is an endless source of entertainment. He's decided to take up the challenge of T. Boone Picken's offer to pay $1 million to anyone who could prove that any of the charges the Swift Boat Veterans made against Kerry were false.

Well, he hasn't actually taken up the challenge. In fact, we can't be sure he's actually decided to take up the challenge. All we know for sure is that he's defined the challenge. Nothing much else has happened. His exact words were that he was, "prepared to prove the lie and marshal all the evidence."

Well...okay...yes...that's the challenge, John. Good of you to clarify.

So, Kerry has restated the challenge. He hasn't proved anything, or actually "marshalled" anything...just said he was prepared to.

And...after making this bold statement, he's cross with Pickens for not forking over the $1 mil. He's actually accused him of "backtracking" on his offer.

I used to think Kerry was an pretentious, greedy, ambitious, short-sighted liar with bad advisors.

Now I think it's possible he's actually just stupid.
