"Sen. Chris Dodd miraculously straddled both arguments — that the threat of terrorism is a fraud and that the Iraq war had increased its danger. He said "al-Qaida is insurgent again" because we've "turned Iraq into an incubator" for jihadists. But simultaneously with warning of a terrorist attack, Dodd also said he was "more skeptical than I'd like to be" of the Bush administration's warning of a terrorist attack. Damn that Bush! He's inflamed an imaginary enemy!"
It's impossible to follow their arguments with the rational mind—because they are flat-headed, demented lunatics. And it's pitiful that any adult American citizen can be bamboozled by this bullshit.
The Gunslinger
I just got done watching Senator John Kerry on Meet The Depressed. Kerry stated that the United States need to go back "to the old days" when we reached out to the World on military issues....he stated (are you sitting down Gunny?)..."We need to reengage the United Nations as we used to do."
ReplyDeleteThere's a Dem/Leftist solution. Accept no responsibility of your own for protecting your own Country - no, just mire things up with a bunch bureaucrats. If I had been in that studio with Senator Long Face I would have simply asked him, "Senator, so what you are proposing is that we revert back to the policies of the past that brought us the two World Trade Center attacks, the Cole bombing, the Embassies bombings, the Taliban in power in Afghanistan, and the Iranian regime getting nuclear weapons? Is that the effective policy counterterrorism you want to go back to?"
This sort of argument is what has convinced me that they do not have positions of conscience...they just assume the stance of positions that they think will win them power.
ReplyDeleteThey change with the wind, from season to season...and sometimes hour to hour.
They are vipers; not to be trusted.
