The Anti-American Democrats in Congress want to reinstate the "Fairness" Doctrine.

Apparently, Dianne Feinstein and others were overheard to say, explicitly, that their goal was to silence Conservative talk radio.

Please understand what that means: Government officials want to use their governmental power to control, limit and regulate the speech of the American People because they disagree with what they say. Was there ever a more perfect example of exactly what the First Amendment was written to prohibit?

"Outrage" simply does not do justice to my reaction to this. Members of the government want to silence dissent. They want to prevent opinions from being heard that differs from and challenges their own. They want to use the coercive power of government to control American citizens' speech.

And don't even bother me with the idiocy that the "fairness" Doctrine was legal in the past. That does not in any way mitigate the frank unconstitutionality of it. (We had slavery too. Shall we demand it be reinstated because it was legal once?)

This is a direct, unmitigated, frontal assault on the First Amendment.

Considering that the same Leftists responsible for this traitorous criminal conspiracy have been waging a war against the Second Amendment for decades, I should not be surprised that their contempt for and assault on the Bill of Rights continues apace.

When we tolerated the Left's continuing violation of the "shall not be infringed" directive of the Second Amendment, we invited them to take aim on any Right of The People they find incommodious.

And, apparently, they have accepted the invitation with gusto. And they will never stop. They need their asses handed to them. If we don't break them, they will destroy America.
