Attorney General Alberto Gonzales visited our offices at The Wall Street Journal yesterday to discuss terrorism and other matters. At one point the discussion turned into something resembling a comedy sketch.Um...why is this man still Attorney General, again?
Gonzales said that the Justice Department was concerned with the problem of "radicalization" in American prisons, and a colleague of ours asked if he was referring to Islamic radicalization. Gonzales declined to characterize it in this way, noting that we are not at war with Islam. Our colleague persisted, and the attorney general allowed that "some" of the radicals are Muslim.
We asked if he could give us percentages, and he demurred. Then another colleague asked, "The ones who aren't Muslims--what are they?" Again, he didn't have an answer.
Are there non-Muslim radical groups active in U.S. prisons whose ideology the attorney general cannot remember? We suppose anything's possible, but it seems more likely that he was evading the obvious."

ReplyDeleteAnonymous is talking about the liberal elite, the "educated" classes forcing their liberal, candy-assed, politically correct crap down the throats of the rest of us.
ReplyDeleteThomas Sowell in his great book, THE VISION OF THE ANOINTED, explains it in horrifying detail.
This Liberal Elite, these Anointed, believe that they alone possess enlightened vision. They believe that they alone should rule and lead us lesser beings, because we cannot hope to understand their higher awareness.
These people will do whatever it takes to see that their vision is the only one implemented. As judges, they will break the law, ignore the Constitution in order to rule in a way that furthers their agenda. As educators they will lie, distort history, brainwash the children to further their agenda. As Environmentalists, they will fake evidence, threaten the livelihoods of dissenting scientists in order to silence debate to further their agenda. As filmmakers, writers and story-tellers they will twist the truth, honor evil and catigate good to further their agenda.
They have power, real power in the courts, in the classrooms, in government. And they continue to force their agenda upon us, essentially by edict rather than by democratic means.
A court ruling that private property can be stolen by the government at its pleasure; legislation that creates "thought" crimes; speech codes that outlaw the use of certain words or ideas; false science in the classroom that creates a generation of "true-believers" instead of scholars; emotionally engaging movies and stories about the trials, tribulations and "humanity" of Muslim terrorists, Mexican illegals, Cop killers and Child molesters as they fight for the right of self determination and self expression against the repressive and oppressive Right Wing Christian theocrats and soulless military types who are conspiring against them.
And they're winning.
Leadership and the American Character was responsible for this country becoming great.
Lack of both will be our undoing.
