sorry to correct you GS but the song is Welsh and celebrates the siege of Harlech castle during the medieval times when the Welsh rebeled against the English.Harlech castle eventually fell I believe after a lengthy heroic siege.Sorry to correct you and come over all nerd like,just a thought,but,pride,patriotism,heroism is not used in our governments vocabulary.

Well thank you,it`s nice to be appreciated.History is my favourite subject,always got my head in a book during any spare time,absolutely adore old buildings,photographs and places of historic interest.Some say it`s boring, but you have to respect your past and it`s people,afterall they shaped who we are,and by loving it,and them,that is what makes us patriotic and willing to fight to preserve it.By the way GS you are far from being an idiot,carry on the good work darling.
